About Jody Miller
My photography journey started when I was about 16 years old. I went to fashion school and at some point, I don’t recall the exact moment, I had this click with photography and from that point on I knew I wanted to become a professional photographer. My (step)father gave me his old Praktica camera and I started taking photos of ordinairy ‘things’ and people in my environment. Almost immediatly I became very passionate about photography.
My enthusiasm kept growing after my internship at a photo studio in my last year of Fashion School and also when I worked at a photographic store a few years later, prior to my photography course at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague, the Netherlands.
For 10 years I worked as an independent graphic designer and photographer for corporate clients and I have had several publications.
Today I work as an artist using various techniques including photography, graphic design, painting and 3D objects incorporating.
