Joetta Maue is an artist, curator, and arts writer. She is especially interested in the role of personal relationships in our lives, seen in our most intimate moments and spaces.
Maue received her BFA from The Ohio State University and her MFA from the University of Massachusetts. Maue's work has been shown throughout galleries and museums across the country and internationally.
Maue's is a writing contributor to a number of journals and a freelance curator as well as her own work being featured in numerous book and journals. She is a Lecturer in the photography department at UMASS Boston and Mount Ida College and Lecturer at Northeastern University and an invited instructor at a number of programs and institutions across the country.
Maue lives in New England with her family.
