I am a photographer, scholar, and educator based in San Francisco. I photograph communities of people with whom I am intimate, exploring both the agency and vulnerability of my subjects. My Queer Babes portrait series was recently exhibited at Aperture Gallery in New York and Romer Young Gallery in San Francisco and featured in Vice Magazine. I teach photography and photo history at San Francisco Art Institute. I received my BFA in Photography from New York University, and my MFA in Photography and MA in Visual & Critical Studies from California College of the Arts. I am currently a PhD Candidate in Visual Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
