Documentary photographer. He has been working for more than two decades on issues such as armed conflict, indigenous cultures and historical memory. He is founder of the Visible Memory Foundation. He is part of the photographers who prefer natural light and silenced realities. In 2010, he was awarded the "National Photography Award in Colombia". In the year 2019 the Government of the United States grants him "Permanent Residence for Extraordinary Ability". Three books are part of his editorial work and he continues his research work, making visible what the mass media prefer to ignore.
