Josep Echaburu was born in Barcelona in 1967, where he currently lives and works.
He was selected as one of the ten finalist for the prestigious Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2010 and
a projection of his work ¨Life Center´ took place at the International Photography Festival: Les
Rencontres d´Arles 2010, and during the month of photography at BraÇo Da Prata (Lisbon),2011.
Bronze medal in PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris 2011.
Selected in the shortlist finalists at London International Creative Competition ( LICC) 2011.
Invited to show his work at the renowned festival Getxophoto ( Bilbao ) 2011 and in it reissue at
Lima (Peru) 2013.
Winner to exibit his artwork in the 7days 7shows (The United Photo Industries) 2011 in Brooklyn,
Honorable mention at IPA (International Photography Awards, The Lucie Foundation) 2011.
