I studied photography at the University of Utah and then apprenticed with another photographer for two years . I am originally from South Africa so it is no surprise that I am draw to places like Nicaragua, Mozambique, Guatemala etc. I have been so fortunate to work as a photographer and do volunteer work in third world countries when I can. I am now married to a man I met during my volunteer journey and have a 2 year old. I live in Maupin, Oregon. I work as a family photographer but I still travel to Central America.
