I worked as a newspaper photographer for almost twenty years, a few years as a picture editor. In the past years I have taken jobs in sales, retail and anything that will pay the bills. I was an Asian Studies student (minor) in college and was fascinated by Japanese culture. This month, April 2017, I finally got a glimpse of this culture. It was an exploration not only of Japanese culture but also of myself. I can relate to the salary man who goes home, tired and beaten from a full day of work. We do what we need to do to feed our families. However, there is something to be said about following your passion and dreams. My dream is to document as much as I can in this brief time that we have in this world. It will be my way of saying, I was here. This is what I saw and I wish to share it with you. Will you take a moment to look at them? Because maybe, just maybe, we can see a little bit of ourselves and understand one another a little better.
