I am a retired psychiatrist who attempts to bring the sensitivity and thought I devoted to my patients to the practice of photography. I was born in Peekskill, NY, in 1948, graduated from Harvard College in 1970, and received a degree in medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, in 1974.
Since my 2011 retirement, I have won several awards, most notably a first in the Black and White Photographer of the Year Award in 2013. I feel most honored to have been selected as a “Special Mention of the Jurors” in the 6th Edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award. In 2014, my photographs were featured in the book produced by the Leica Forum.
In 2014 my photographs were exhibited in the Summer Open of the Aperture Gallery and in the Small Wonders Exhibit in the Atlantic Gallery both in New York City, and in the fotofoto gallery in Huntington, NY.
