What are the core aspects of human interaction?
With each other, their surroundings, the photographer?
A certain chaotic harmony, created by the confrontation of people’s different realities all happening simultaneously, is what captivates me. I seek to go beyond daily-life banalities into dream-like instants of what it feels like to be human. Provocative freedom and heart-warming intimacy is what attracts my eye, especially in the family context: growing up unschooled, alternative education plays a significant role in my work. Daughter of a painter and a choreographer, my observations stand between visual composition and group dynamics: light, form, colour, movement and space are essential. My work is an open invitation to take an active look at the world around us; a contemplation of life and humanity.
