Juliet San Nicolas de Bradley (b. 1991) is a fine art and documentary photographer from Los Angeles, CA. She currently lives in Merced, CA. She is interested in using photography as a way to become more fully present to the everyday mystery of life.
Juliet studied photography at BIOLA University, auditing the entire BFA major alongside her first major (Communicative Sciences and Disorders) because she loved it so much. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Speech and Language Pathology and her photography is driven by questions that she comes across in her speech therapy work: what does it mean for the mentally disabled to be seen as beautiful? how can we rethink and overcome the stigmas attached to those with disabilities? how to hold the pain of those with disabilities and their families, as well as their daily joys?
