Juliette Angotti is a photographer born in 1987 in Lyon, France. She first pursued a philosophy curriculum and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the Jean Moulin University in 2008. Then, she moved to Paris and obtained a Graduate diploma in photography and video at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris in June 2015. Her diploma project is a series of photographs entitled «Geography is just a second attribute». This project focuses on enclosed sites, digital spaces and stuffed animals that produce an insane scientific world. It won the European Photography Award 2015 and was exhibited in June 2016 in Italy at the Photographic Foundation of Modena, in a group-show entitled «The Summer Show 2016» that gathered young European photographers.
Since February 2017, Juliette lives and works in the United States, in Newark, Delaware.
