I am Jun Ryan Arañas, a 27-year-old photojournalist. Fondly called 'Nikko' by my family and closest friends, I took up a business management course in college however, I ended up doing the things I love the most. I am a person who has the passion for the arts. I paint, music, and even multimedia arts. But I mostly love taking pictures as it is another contemporary way of expressing thoughts and emotions. Currently I am employed as a photo correspondent for the Manila Bulletin--taking pictures around Metro Manila and nearby provinces, or wherever the news may take me, during the graveyard shift.
