June Kim received her MFA from Pratt Institute, and has been part of several national group exhibits, as well as international exhibits such as the Busan Biennale’s Sea Art Festival in Korea, and the Short Film Festival in Italy. She utilizes all types of media such as video, installation, and photography. Her work explores re-establishing contact with the primal, the past, and the authentic. This is manifested primarily through the animal, as well as the examination of language and communication. She divides her time between LA, New York and Maine.
