I think it is important in a time when everyone with a cell phone considers themselves a photographer, that we find our own niche. Something that sets us apart from the amateur, as well as the professional photographer. In a lake of white swans, I want to be the black swan that stands out from the rest. I was lucky enough to be passionate about my designated niches. Instead of being an individual when I create, I tend to be a multitude of many influences. I enjoy taking a photo to the next step in the creative process by pushing the envelope of color and emotion, in order to tell a story. Much of my work is commercial and fine art. I am a self-taught graphic designer who specializes in composition work. If I could be a word, I would be Fauvism. Fauvism was a style of painting with vivid expressionistic use of color. It was a style of painting that flourished around the turn of the 20th century. I love using the same technique to produce vibrant colors in my photography.
