Karina Rocco is an emerging photographer born in 1985 in Arica, Chile. In 2001 she moved to Miami, where she is currently based.
She has exhibited in several solo and collective shows throughout the U.S. Her previous works have explored pre-conceived ideas within religious expression of the self, and have showcased a visual journey through deeply-rooted memories from places she associates with home. Her most recent work, Warmth, depicts an introspective dialogue from which she questions her sense of self-perception through the lens of her family while addressing her conception of filial bonds.
Karina earned her degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History at Florida International University, where she graduated in 2015.
