I am a Holga artist living in Stuttgart, Germany, shooting with my Holga 120 CFN since 2008. I am working with medium format film using double exposure to produce the overlapping elements. There is no Photoshop involved. The process of taking the pictures is led by themes and my intuitive view of the world. My aim is to capture atmosphere, to activate all senses and to grasp the world in special settings.
I grew up near Heidelberg, Germany, and started exploring the world with my cameras from there. After my studies in IT and International Management, I have been working in various industries both internationally and in Germany, currently in the automotive one. In addition, I am a volunteer for a foundation supporting organizations in low-income countries via managerial consulting.
Taking pictures nurtures the creative side to my personality. Together, both my job, my volunteer work and my calling are the food for my brain, soul and heart.
