Karsten Kronas is a Germany based photo artist, primarily working on personal long time projects noted for shooting on analog material.
His conceptual documentary works focus the last 10 years primarily on the Middle East, before Japan and Australia. He began his career with his award winning international exhibited work Heterotopien which was published by Kehrer in 2010 (Beyoglu Blue) nominated with the German Book prize. The work was supported by several foundations. Beside some residency programs his works got international shown at Fotofestivals, Galeries and Museums.
Currently he is teaching documentary photography at a Design School and realizing his Master project in Photography at the University for Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and working on two long time projects in Israel.
