Kate Kornberg is a California-born documentary photographer currently living and working in Los Angeles. Since receiving her BFA in photography from Pratt Institute in 2007, she has been included in various shows and publications, including a 2017 group exhibition at the United Nations. She has recently been working with the Paris-based organizations Yahad-In-Unum and Action Yazidis, documenting research trips in Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, and most recently Iraqi Kurdistan. Kate is drawn to coastlines and boarders, islands and fog, people and spaces that may feel forgotten.
