I am a New York-based photographer and photojournalist. While much of my work focuses on humanitarian issues, my fine art black and white and conceptual photography is largely influenced by my travels, my studies in Buddhism, and by the surrealist movement. Artists, photographers, and thinkers, ranging from Rene Magritte, Edmund Burke, Ernst Haas, and Thich Nhat Hanh, have impacted my view of the world and hence the lens through which I view it.
My work has been published in BBC, Al Jazeera, New Era Publishing Corp., The Art of Intuitive Photography, among others.
