Keegan Holden is a 21 year old third-year student at Bard College in New York pursuing a BA in photography. He grew up in Seattle, Washington and now lives in Los Angeles. For his senior thesis show in photography, Keegan intends to produce a project in a similar vein to this one by traveling to Germany in the summer of 2018 to trace his German-Jewish lineage back to the physical landscapes in which they lived and died, to search for their ghosts. He is concerned with how their fates are of existential relevance to his own.
Following graduation in the spring of 2019, Keegan intends to travel to Northern Syria to photograph the ongoing Kurdish revolution in the autonomous region of Rojava.
Keegan’s work has been published in a number of publications including the Bard Free Press, Eugene Magazine, the Yolk Mag, and the Find Rangers Camera Club. His portfolio is available for viewing on his website: keeganholden.com
