Kenneth Guthrie is a photographer currently residing in Little Rock, Arkansas. He will recieve his BFA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December of 2016. The same year, he received the Joan Taylor Foundation Scholarship from his university as well as the Windgate Foundation and Friends of the Arts Scholarships in 2015.
His work is focused on the perception of light and its transforming effects in a specific environment, with subjects drawn from the everyday life that in the end remind the viewer of man’s mortality. Inspired by the camera obscura, his work incorporates digital photography with light projections to produce surreal imagery.
