This work represents a contemplative and meditative space in a chaotic world. It offers a chance to slow down and find beauty that is inherent in the subjects. My photography is a direct reflection of my emotions and perspective; however, most works are left untitled so the viewer can form their own interpretation. Thus, the image becomes theirs. I work within the philosophies of past and present masters. From Minor White: " One should not only photograph things for what they are, but for what else they are" and Michael Kenna: "The objects in the images are mere suggestions." My work serves a dual purpose: For those who see the surface beauty of the subjects and for those who seek a deeper metaphoric meaning.
