Kezia Barnett is a filmmaker, photographer and artist with a keen eye for detail and a love of telling stories, conceptual riffing, solving a technical challenge and creating delicious visuals.
Directing international commercials, shorts and music videos for over 20 years, Kezia has a passion for creating unique and cinematic worlds, winning numerous awards for her work. Her short films have been shown around the globe at prestigious festivals such as: Aesthetica, HollyShorts, Brooklyn and VAEFF at Tribeca Film Center.
Taking photos everyday for 22 years for her ‘Daily Photo’ project means always carrying a camera and Kezia documents life wherever she is.
Kezia has been taking photos since childhood, gaining top in New Zealand for her photography portfolio in her last year of high-school, and is now re-focusing on this medium.
Originally from Devonport, New Zealand, Kezia holds a degree from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University in Intermedia (time-based art).
