There is a secret ingredient to quality - it's called love.
My live started in Filderstadt near by Stuttgart, Germany. Stuttgart has been my home turf and playing ground all my live. Very early I decided to be a filmmaker simply for the reason that I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else without getting depressed. I just had to create and it had to be film. After graduating from highschool I started my film career with a dokumentary job in Namibia Afrika. From there on I went to several film production companies like Bavaria, Markenfilm, Element E and others. Living for over a year in Hamburg.
During these years I saw everything from big commercial-, series- to feature film-productions. Being there in various functions and departements I was able to pic up a lot of knowledge from all these professional filmmakers. I was quickly given the chance to put hands on myself. With rising responsibility came a lot of confidence in my ability as a filmmaker.
To win some time for finding myself creatively, I startet a bachelors degree of arts at Merz Akademie back in Stuttgart. Besides my study I work as a freelance photographer and filmmaker having several indie film and photography projects that have been or still are realized. You will hear about it soon;)
Photography is something that I added in my early 20s. It's something that I just started doing and discovered along the way, that it gives me just as much creative satisfaction as filmmaking. There are things in live you can't always say to people. But with photography I am able to express them on a daily bases.
