Hamburg based free-lancing photographer, photojournalist & pixelpusher.
50 years old, started to picture the world at the age of 11.
I still regard photography to be both: the most effective and impressing way to conserve special moments in present to be revisited in future, `cause „one look is worth a thousand words.“ (Fred R. Barnard, Printers’ Ink, december 8th, 1921).
Since my childhood fascinated by people and their contradictions, since my youth somehow addicted to rock`n roll music & nightlife, I`m doomed:
with a camera as constant companion, night `n day in & out, scouting on location, in recent years increasingly in the close environment of young artists, at Hamburg`s off-premises and their communities, where they show their art.
Might it be a rock`n roll damnation, a love affair or reckless stupidity (what - infact - is almost the same way exhausting) - I have the feeling that I`ve gotta rock to stay alive.
Simple way to proof yer not already dead: ya keep rollin` `n tumblin`....
