Knut Stritzke, born 1975 in Halle at the Saale, first graduated as a carpenter and worked in Southern Germany and Switzerland. In 1998 he followed his passion, pressed the school bench again and worked as a photographer in various positions before he made his own in this area in Berlin in 2000. In 2014, he staged a photo series in the GRASSI Museum in Leipzig in an emotional installation named "Sri Lanka's Smile".
