Konrad Thọ Fiedler's directorial debut, RUNNING EAGLE: Pitamakan (2017), was awarded Best of the Northwest Short at the BendFilm festival in Bend, Oregon. It is the prologue short film to a feature project in development.
Konrad is a cinematography alum of the American Film Institute (AFI) conservatory in Los Angeles and a cinematography teacher at Woodbury University in Burbank, California.
A former staff photographer for The New York Sun newspaper, Konrad's photographs of the crisis in Darfur are in the permanent collection at the Library of Congress and were nominated for Pulitzer consideration. His work has been published by the New York Times, Getty Images, Bloomberg News, Agence France-Presse, and Marie Clare among others.
