About Larry Mendenhall

After a 14-year newspaper career and a 10-year hiatus from taking photographs, a revived interest in landscape photography prompted me to pick up my cameras again in the mid-1990s. After spending several years improving my photography, I started Quiet Places Photography in 2003, leading to appearances in numerous juried art shows, exhibitions, and publications.

Since then, the New York Center for Photographic Arts and the Southeast Center for Photography have selected several of my photos for their exhibitions. LensWork has published several projects and single images and other images were published in Fine EYE Magazine and On Landscape.
