I’m a Canadian artist, living in beautiful Northumberland County. I have been a landscape designer, garden educator and graphic designer before turning to photography full time in 2006, capturing gardens, farms, food and the people who create them for many of Canada’s top magazines.
My work explores ways of seeing and interpreting the natural world through the intersection of photography and painting. This convergence is a natural outgrowth of my early training as painter and more than twenty years as a photographer. I go beyond the photographic image to re-envision the world as a synthesis of what I feel and what the camera records.
