As an artist who works primarily in photography, process is an intricate and detailed part of her practice, building and constructing the subject matter for her photographs. She creates images that speak to time and space, using imagery that plays on the border where imagination meets the real.
Her work comes from a personal place that is linked between her childhood and adulthood experiences. Growing up in a small south Texas town has influenced her work throughout most of her artistic career. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts in 2012 from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts in 2015 from Maine College of Art in Portland, ME. She currently resides in Floresville, TX.
