Laurence Grandbois Bernard is a Canadian visual artist based in Frelishsburg. She holds a master's degree in experimental media and a Bachelor's degree in sociology. Her artistic work oscillates between architectural projection and conceptual photography. His interest in sociology is reflected in the creation of works that address memory, living spaces, intimacy and social norms.In 2014, she created the first-ever architectural projection on the Van Horne warehouse, an iconic building in Montreal's Mile End neighborhood. She won the Philippe-Ménard prize. In 2017 her work was produced and rebroadcast as part of the celebrations of the 375th anniversary of Montreal and as part of the international mapping festival and the 375th anniversary of Montreal. Since completing her studies in photography at Marsan College, Laurence divides her time between artistic photographic projects and her work as a still photographer in the Montreal film industry. In recent years, Laurence has won various awards with her series Love's edges and her images have been published in the prestigious American Photography 37.
