I am a 20 year old woman from Buffalo, New York. I grew up in a loving and diverse household for which I am very thankful. Being the artist of the family has been difficult but my mother is my biggest supporter. I moved to Cleveland in August of 2015 to attend the Cleveland Institute of Art as an interior architecture major and quickly changed my mind to photography. I had been told my entire life that photography was a hobby rather than a career and so I stuck with that theory until coming to school and realizing that I needed to do what made me happy and not what made everyone else happy. Since then I have taught several classes in photography to young aspiring artists and have worked in various places including a letterpress studio and a non-profit that offers free school portraits to children in low income areas. I have never been more fulfilled since I started making images full time and I plan on continuing down this path for a long time to come.
