Leandro Dittz is a photographer, image editor, art director and graphic producer. Since 2015 he is the design coordinator of LeYa, one of the Brazil’s largest publishers. He already developed more than 40 book covers and coordinated the commercial production of trade books and art table books, sponsored by incentive laws like (Rouanet, ISS and ICMS).He still works as a photographer for an Institute of research called Proprietas, which brings together researchers on the subject property. Together with UEMA (State University of Maranhão), he developed the project “A Peste do Grilo”, which aims to document the memory, culture and resistance of vulnerable populations to land grabbing in the interior of Maranhão, Paraná and Bahia. A first photobook on the riverine populations of the Maranhenses is planned for 2018.
