I share an equal passion for both the art and craft of film photography. My preference has always been the depth, richness, texture, and impact of black-to-white imagery, with an emphasis on street and urban photography. For me, street photography is a good excuse to talk to interesting people. On the gear side, I have a fascination with the design and engineering of finely-craft vintage medium and large format cameras: metal, wood, glass, craftsmanship, quality, beauty. And the negative. There is something deeply satisfying about making an image and then holding the negative...tangible evidence of a moment in time.
