Lenka's work has been interchanging between portraiture, social documentary and self-expression studies.
Her portraiture is atmospheric, often dark without the intent of capturing sitters personally but recording the exchange between her and the sitter. Her photography sessions are exchange of trust and self discovery.
Rayn self-portrait studies serve as a record of her current moods, desires and they explore the relationship between her body and the environment she’s in. They are moments of total freedom of expression, honesty and play. Each session also becomes a new time capture of her body and mind in time.
Lenka exhibits regularly in London and opens her studio twice a year to the public in her artist community in South East London.
Her work has been selected for Taylor Wessing National Portrait Gallery Portrait Prize 2014, Portrait Salon (2018, 2016, 2015, 2011), and John Koball Portrait Awards in NPG 2001.
