Liliana Zaharia is a Fine Art photographer, born in Bucharest, Romania in 1990. She works with digital and analogue photography, using different mediums in accordance to the project.
She completed BA in Fine Art Photography at London Metropolitan University in 2013, with a final year project documenting the rural life in Romania’s countryside. Her current interest lies in documentary and fine art photography. The emphasis in her projects is on the everyday life, exploring identity and belonging through the surrounding people and places.
Liliana has had a solo show at Brunel Museum with the series ‘43 Miles’ and participated in group exhibitions at Red Gallery, CRE8 gallery, and Daniel Libeskind Space. As a new graduate, Liliana has undertaken a career as a professional photographer, expanding to a successful business in just a couple of years. Her work is greatly influenced by Nan Goldin, Laura Pannack, William Eggleston and Wolfgang Tillmans.
