As an artist, I would describe myself as a street and portrait photographer. I also write poetry occasionally. I have been active in the photography industry for over 35 years. Over the years, I have assisted in photography studios, worked for Kodak Professional and Calumet, plus exhibited my work in many LA galleries. I am signed with Getty One as a contributing photographer, where my images of actor Leonard Nimoy have been published on the cover of “I Am Spock,” as well as William Shatner’s book “Leonard.” When Mr. Nimoy passed away, my image was in the memorial video at the Academy awards. Over the last 17 years, my main source of income has shifted to working in the museum industry. For nine years, I worked for The J. Paul Getty Museum; first as the senior assistant to the manager of imaging services where I was later promoted to an imaging technician assignment to digitally capture part of the photography archive. Later, I was assigned to capture part of the Mapplethorpe Collection for the Library. I have worked for the Autry Museum of the American West for the past ten years now; where I am currently the Manager of Constituent Research and Management, Development.
