Lisa Parsons is a photojournalist, writer, and visual artist in the Pacific NW. She is an award winning photographer, artist, and writer having won awards from Writers Digest, pro photo and the Oregon Architectural Hetitage Foundation, and Sellwood Bridge art contest. Lisa has been a photojournalist for the Examiner media doing stories and photos about women artists. Lisa has worked and lived in NYC and has a MA from NYU and worked at the Noguchi Museum and interned at MOMA. Lisa also has a BA from Portland State University and was the Director of the Littman and White Galleries from 1981-1983 and curated shows in both galleries as well as many photo exhibitions of well know photographers and artists.
Lisa has also done a great deal of video work including work about her own artwork and travel experiences in LA and in Portland with many well known regional women artists.
Lisa is a writer and is working presently with Jenifer Jackson of the Donald Maass agency in New York on a submission of a science fiction young adult manuscript. Hold your breathe for news..
