I have been making photographs since I was twelve. As a young woman I was fortunate to work at the Susan Harder Gallery in New York where I worked with photographers Andre Kertesz, Sylvia Plachy, Aaron Siskind and William Clift. In my mid twenties, because of a desire to become more self sufficient, I moved up the Hudson River to the country. Here I learned to grow food, raise children and eventually how to design and build houses with my husband. All this time I photographed. Thirty years later I am still here, growing vegetables, flowers and raising chickens and feeling finally ready to show my work.
