It seems a natural progression from 30 years of written communications to visual storytelling through photography. I marvel at the wonder of our universe. I travel to learn about other cultures. I look for stories in abandoned urban landscapes. I try to convey what silence looks like. An early interest in Japanese culture led to an appreciation of how fine details contribute to the story. Sixteen years of studying flying trapeze in the Toronto cirque community changed my perspective of the world. My camera has become both a brush and a pen, allowing me to tell the stories I see in my viewfinder.
