Luana Martignon is an Italian photographer based in the UK.
After working on her self-esteem and body image for many years, she realised how photography and self-portraiture were very effective tools to improve her own self-acceptance and mental health.
She founded Intimate Portraits by Lu to apply the same practices in helping others: with her work, she pushes beyond the barriers and stigmas created by society and supports individuals in appreciating and celebrating their bodies. Her goal is to improve representation and break taboos so that everyone can feel included and appreciated.
