Lucía Castañeda Garma (Mexico City, 1978) has a master's degree in Visual Arts and has taken numerous workshops with important mexican photographers. Since 2021, she is part of the National System of Art Creators. She has had seven solo exhibitions in Mexico and her work has been selected in important national art competitions such as Biennial Monterrey FEMSA and Biennial of Photography. She received honorable mention in the II Biennial of Photography Oaxaca 2016 and in the XXV National Prize of Young Art. In 2015 and 2003 she received the grant of the Program for Creation and Artistic Development of the State of Aguascalientes. She currently teaches photography at the University of the Arts of the State of Aguascalientes and is a freelance photographer.
