Luigi di Tullio was born in Milan in 1964. He began his artistic journey with painting. He started by developing the cycle of "Appartenenze" (translatable with “The sense of belonging to…”), a topic that will remain for a long time in the center of the artist’s research.
In 2003 POLIART Gallery, in Milan, welcomes him in its circle, arranging for him several solo exhibition, with catalogues curated by Leonardo Conti,. and bringing his works in all major Italian art fairs. In POLIART he meets artists as Julio Le Parc, Alberto Biasi, Paolo Conti, Riccardo Licata, Sandro Martini
In the following years he continues with sculpture, developing the cycles “Totus tuus”, “Low Sculptures” and “Humus”, in which the artist catches the intensity of the process of becoming in a such essential way he never did before.
In recent years Luigi di Tullio focused his attention in fine art photography. In his photography the objects lose their self-referential meaning to bring out a new perspective in which the reality has less clear shapes. In this perspective the mystery come to light just before our eyes.
