I am a female photographer and visual artist from Saudi Arabia.
I traveled to many places throughout my
lifetime. I completed an undergraduate degree in Creative Industries
from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane /
Australia in 2010. Later in 2011, I finished a Master’s in Visual
Arts/Photography from Griffith University, Brisbane / Australia.
In 2018 I completed my PhD in Photography from University of
Brighton, UK. Currently I am an Assistant Professor at Princess
Norah University, KSA, teaching photography to students at the
School of Arts & Design, in which I was the head of the Graphic
Design department from 2018 to 2020.
I believe that due to my diverse educational background my work
combines both a Middle Eastern outlook with a touch of Western
influence. I am specialised in portraits; however, I also enjoy taking
photographs in all genres. As an artist, I am a creative person,
constantly looking for innovative ideas, never tiring from my craft.
