I seek to escape a bit from myself, which is why my work revolves around relationships, intimacy, parties, nightlife, objects and still life, sorrows and joys, fauna and flora. Portraits are my main goal as a professional, and where I find myself in connection with the subject. My practice stems from street photography. I delve into relationships that allow for that, in the interest of a narrative that reveals where I fit in, intertwining with the world. This rhythm brings me answers that lead me to new series in a continuous photographic exercise. The aesthetic of the images is a consequence, whether through the medium, format, or light source. And shadow. My series are passive, in that I photograph what is already around me. But I strive to change that attitude.
