I'm a self-thaught photographer keen on, how i call it - a contemporary variation on Straight Photography. I take pictures for more than 20 years, developing my own photographic language.
I had several individual exhibitions in Poland (e.g.: IMPOSSIBLE Polaroid Gallery, Warsaw). My works was also a part of group exhibition in ZPAF (Polish Art Photographers Association).
I chalk up some publications in catalogues, art-books (e.g.: "Warsawholic" , "Żurnal").
I learned to photograph using analog SLR equiped with 50mm fixed focal lens. I stay to analog photography because of it's exceptional quality and element of surprise.
Recently I shoot with analog compact cams: CONTAX T2 and OLYMPUS Mju II.
My style has always been based on clear, rather precise composition.
I aim to create a strong aestethical / contemplative condition in the wiever.
Nevertheless I hold strong aversion for too conceptual approach to photography. That is why I try to keep my frames "washed out" of the direct meanings.
