I graduated from the Department of Photography, Beijing Film Academy and the Department of Journalism, Renmin University of China. For eight years, I have been a photographer in several newspapers, mainly engaged in social news photography and portrait photography.
After 2010, I systematically studied art history, film history and post-modern philosophy, began to contact contemporary photography, focusing on the mechanism of image generation. How do images construct our everyday experience? What does this have to do with history? Where is the boundary of an image when it no longer involves real phenomena? What else can images do?
