Lynn Griffin-Roberts was born and raised in the Charlotte, NC area where she currently lives and works as a photographic artist. She earned her BFA with a concentration in photography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2015 with a minor in art history. Her conceptually driven work investigates a variety of mediums and tends to be a commentary on political and/or social issues while at times being quite introspective. She utilizes digital and film photographic methods, as well as exploring alternative 19th century photographic processes. She has been experimenting with encaustic painting on her photographic work and is excited to work more with this medium. Her work has been exhibited at UNCC as well as several galleries/venues in the Charlotte area.
