I have been a serious amateur nature and fine art photographer for 30+ years. I founded MadArtz Photo in 2004 and offer my original works as photo prints and canvases, note cards and wall calendars. My favorite subjects are flora, fauna, forests, national parks, skies and other natural wonders, but I literally see a picture in everything. Rarely without a camera in hand, I shoot exclusively with natural light and often use intentional camera movement (ICM) techniques to achieve photo-impressionist and abstract effects. My genres also include representational, landscape, black & white and still life photography. I have won local, state, regional, national and international awards for my images and continually add new exhibitions to my schedule. During 2019 and early 2020 my solo photography exhibit traveled to three Alabama cities and is scheduled for others in 2021. It is an eclectic collection of photo series presented as gallery-wrapped canvases and fine art prints.
