I am a French-Canadian mature part time student living with HIV and a mental Illness. My process is to see meaning in the immaterial around me such as clouds, water or light. Having faced several time near death experience, I have a deep understanding of the fragility of life, its ephemeral nature. My works is driven by German romanticism iconography and as such the beauty that is surrounding us despite the climate emergency we are confronted as a specie.
Three pictures are stills from a water falling at lock 3 of the Old Welland built in 1836 and decommissioned in 1873.
Two pictures are clouds formation taken from my balcony as my social anxiety limits my day-to-day movement.
